What’s that?

The women in my family have been sewing, crafting and making since we were kids. Over the years, we have all gathered up collections, or stashes as we call them, of all kinds of things for sewing and crafting. I love piecing together notions from different generations, like buttons from one era with fabric from another, and adding custom, one-of-a-kind, upcycled elements to favorite patterns, like making my own piping for a wallet out of an upcycled leather piece of fabric I saved from the 1980s. I also love quilting in fun and interesting ways (like upcycled multiuse quillows and cozy upcycled quiltcoats). My daughter’s Gramma used to always say “waste not, want not” and I try to include an element of upcycled something or other in all the pieces I sell.

I have been collecting and making for almost fifty years, and have inherited the collections of several generations of crafters in my family as well as the families of close friends who have donated their goods to our projects. I wanted to make a place where you could come and shop my stash of favorite creations, my stash of vintage fabrics & Gramma’s Easy Project Pouches, and my stash of favorite notions.
